The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) held its Annual Career Fair on January 27, 2018 to provide a common platform for both job seekers & employers to interact. The event was centered on theme “Transforming Futures” to connect students with prospective employers and introduce them to a myriad of job and internship opportunities offered by hundreds of national & multi-national organizations from the FMCG, Telecom, Engineering, I.T, Banking & Finance, Development, Education, Oil & Gas and Pharmaceutical industry etc.

Orient Group took part in the University’s Mega Career Event to search the finest talent in Pakistan and provide them with exciting job & internship opportunities. The event offered a great chance for the graduates of LUMS, and for those who are yet to graduate, to network with the officials of leading companies of multiple domains, to discover opportunities, and acquire information about their respective hiring processes.

While commenting on the relevance of the event, the Group's Director Sales & Marketing, Mian Abdul Rehman Talat said:-

Orient Group's recruitment teams also provided the students career advice and collected the interested candidates resumes for them to be part of Pakistan leading Consumer Electronics Company.  The Job Fair was a mutually beneficial affair, both for the graduates and the employing organizations. It was delighting to see that this year the Group had the largest number of attendees on their booth which is a clear sign that revolutionary minds just can’t wait to be part of the company’s innovation journey.

The fair in its ninth consecutive year has consistently grown over the years, both in terms of students and prospective employer’s to engage with a large pool of talent in terms of helping them find prestigious employment opportunities.
